Located further away in the valley, la Maison du Fromage not only includes a cheese dairy, but also a shop and exhibitions.
Opened from the 1st of April to the 31st of October, and usually in the afternoon, this museum tells of the Second World War fights that took place in the region and especially in Turckheim.
From the 1st of May to the 31st of October, an authentic night watchman starts his patrol at 10pm from the Tourist Office. He will talk to you about the town along with numerous typical anecdotes from Alsace.

Located a mere 10 minutes drive away, the village of Eguisheim has a unique architecture, in the heart of the vineyards. It has also been named the favorite village of the French in the past, enough to spend a beautiful afternoon!
